Karim El-Sharnoby
works as promotion director for Dream TV and also freelances in special effects,
graphic design, and directing. In the past, he has worked as creative director
and senior graphic designer for Tamima TV, director for Egyptian TV's talk show
"Al-Galsa Al-Alaniyya," creative director for Nile Thematic Channels and for Showtime.
He is applying to study psychology for a BA degree.
Mai El Dahan
is a presenter and reporter for the Arabian Radio Network in Dubai Media City.

is training manager and anchor at MBC news.
Mohamed Sultan
is manager director and producer of SCOOP s.r.l. in Italy and has produced several
music videos for Arab clientele. He is former GM of ARTs European bouquet Arabesque.

is a host at ART talk show Benu Benak.
Mounir Shemaly
is senior director and editor and trains directors/assistant directors at ART
in Italy.
Randa Aboul
Azm is now bureau chief for MBC's Cairo news office, after starting as a reporter
there.
Salma
Mostafa El Feki, who
served as anchor of World News Roundup (Adham Center's daily news bulletin) from
1989 to 1992, is now wearing two hats-as the anchor of the English news bulletin
on Egyptian national television's Channel 2 and as a diplomat at the Arab League
in Cairo. El Feki, who has two sons, is married to a diplomat who is an AUC graduate.

Interns
The Adham Center
participated in AUCs Presidential Internship program for several years, bringing
a recent US college graduate to work as curator of the Sony Gallery for Photography.
With the growth of the gallery, the internship position was replaced by a full-time
curator, Adham Center graduate Noura Bahgat (1996).
Celka Staughn,
intern 1993-94 and Sony Gallery curator 1994-1995, is a doctoral candidate in
art history at the University of Chicago and is undertaking research in the Middle
East.
Susan Arena,
1988-1989, is an artist living and working in New York City. Her most recent exhibition
of paintings was the show Bridges at DUMBO (The Down Under the Manhattan Bridge
Overpass Gallery) in Brooklyn. The show consisted of work done during Susan's
recent stay in India on a Yale travel grant to study rural folk art. see

Suzanne Malveaux,
who served as intern in the Adham Center during 1988 / 1990, is working now for
CNN International covering the White House. Before that Malveaux was NBC affiliate
WCR-TV in Washington, DC and a reporter for WFXT, the Boston Fox affiliate. Suzanne
got her start in TV when she anchored the AUC TV daily news program and conducted
studio interviews for the weekly video magazine during her internship. see

Miriam Sami
recently joined the Dubai Business Channel as correspondant and head of long-term
planning. Miriam had worked as a correspondent for the Associated Press in Cairo
and than moved to Dubai to serve as correspondent for the Gulf Times.
